The practice behind the adjustments

One clinician, one room, adult patients, and a policy of telling you when you are finished.

How Preferred started on Hamilton Avenue

Dr. Audra Moran opened Preferred Chiropractic after a decade inside larger Atlanta clinics, where the schedule decided the care. Patients were re-signed by reflex, plans stretched to fill a quarter, and nobody said the word discharge out loud.

Suite C was chosen because it is small. One treatment room, one consult room, one clinician — which caps how many people can be seen in a week and removes the reason to keep anyone longer than the exam supports.

The neighbourhood ended up shaping the caseload: Grant Park renovators, Southside Trail runners, warehouse-office desk workers and drivers who have been rear-ended somewhere on Moreland. Different bodies, same question — how long is this going to take?

What you can hold us to

Four promises that shape every plan

The same hands, every visit

The clinician who examined you is the one treating you in week six.

A number, not a subscription

Visit counts are estimated at the exam and revised out loud, never quietly extended.

Referrals when we are wrong

Cases that belong with a surgeon, neurologist or PT get a name and a phone number.

Time that is actually yours

Exams run fifty-five minutes; follow-ups are not stacked three deep on the hour.

Training, and what it changed

Chiropractic school teaches you to restore a joint. Ten years of chronic cases taught me to watch the tissue that keeps undoing it.

Doctor of Chiropractic, licensed in Georgia, with post-graduate work in disc and nerve-related conditions plus soft-tissue and regenerative rehabilitation. Continuing education stays weighted toward tissue healing rather than technique collecting.

Most of the caseload arrives as a second or third opinion: an MRI already taken, a course of rest already tried, sometimes an injection that helped for a month. That is the work the practice is built around, and it is why re-checks happen on a schedule instead of when someone complains.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Moran is usually on the Southside Trail or lifting badly enough to remember what her patients are describing.

Come see the room before you commit

Ask for a consult if you would rather talk it through first. Nobody gets adjusted on a visit they only booked to ask questions.
